I have edited several dozen military books, with many of the traditional and self-published books selling thousands of copies. The Holocaust Chronicle sold close to 400,000 copies.
I have edited books on the American Revolutionary War, the American Civil War, World War I, World War II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have edited military historical fiction, biographies of military figures, and many military memoirs. My authors have held a variety of ranks, up to colonel and brigadier general.
During my copyedit, I make sure that military terms are consistent with Chicago Manual of Style and, perhaps, the author’s style guide. I always respect the author’s voice and experiences.
